Testers

A perfume tester is a full-size bottle that a brand makes for stores to sample. Ours have never been sprayed. The fragrance is the same as the retail bottle. It comes in a plain box, or sometimes no box, which is why it costs less. Current testers include Mind Games French Defense, Baccarat Rouge 540 and Goldfield & Banks Ingenious Ginger.

Are Scentrica testers used?

No. Every tester we sell has never been sprayed. If a bottle has anything else worth knowing, like a dented box, the listing says so.

Is a tester the same fragrance as the retail bottle?

Yes. The liquid inside is the same. What changes is the packaging: a plain white or brown box instead of the printed retail box.

Can I return a tester?

Yes, within 15 days of delivery, as long as it comes back never sprayed and in the condition we sent it. We email a prepaid label and deduct its cost from your refund.

Who should buy a tester?

Anyone buying fragrance to wear, not to display. If the box doesn't matter to you, a tester is the same scent for less.
